2011 Five-year Top Performing Direct Plans Q3

Savingforcollege.com ranks the performance of direct-sold 529 plans. Direct-sold plans are those that consumers can enroll in without using a broker. We have prepared both one-year, three-year and five-year performance tables. To prepare this ranking, we compared a subset of portfolios from each 529 savings plan. We selected portfolios based on their mix of stocks, bonds and money market funds, which allows for an apples-to-apples comparison in seven asset-allocation categories. The lower the "percentile," the better the ranking. This ranking could be a useful tool for you when selecting which direct 529 plan might be right for you. The Model T Revolutionized The Automotive Industry

When Henry Ford began making cars, he felt that the automotive was destined to make the horse and carriage disappear. However, to make that happen first he needed to produce a car that was affordable by everyone. In 1908, he achieved that with the production of the Model T. The Model T revolutionized the automotive industry. The Model T was the first affordable car for the masses. Its affordability came from several properties. First, the Model T featured all interchangeable parts. Parts in one Model T were exactly the same as the parts in another model T made in the same year. Second, the Model T was the first car to contain vanadium steel parts, which were stronger, more dependable and lighter weight than previous steel pieces and they could be manufactured easier. Throughout history, technology in the world has evolved from the invention of tools for survival to the invention of social media for communication. Social media started playing a big role in the world around 1997 when a site called Six Degrees was created. However, in 1999, the first blogging site became popular and this type of social media is still popular today. For example, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter can all be considered blogging sites that are popular in current time. Due to social media, there has been a decline in social interaction. According to a UCLA psychology study, people who spend more time on their phones lose the ability to recognize the emotions of others. Technology allows the violent act of peer pressure to occur more often. Reflection Paper On Personality - 1427 Words

For this paper, I wanted to get an analytical point of view on what my personality is. To do this, I took two personality tests from the Similar Minds website. The first one I took was the Big 45 Test. That personality test consisted of 225 questions that gave me the answer range from ‘very inaccurate’ to ‘very accurate’. My results were nearly similar in percentage; for Extroversion I got 59%, Accommodation is 67%, Orderliness is 59%, Emotional Stability is 51%, and Open-mindedness is 73%. What I liked about this test is that it broke down each section down even further. For example, when I looked at the category Extroversion, I was given specific percentages for the labels that fall into the Extroversion group like ‘Leadership’. So, for†¦show more content†¦For the Big 45 Test, my percentage for Open-mindedness is nearly spot on with how I would describe myself. But, when I break down a category even further, like the Accommodation ca tegory, I don’t believe that my ‘Nurturance’ is as high as it claims I am, which is a 66% on the exam. The reason I say this is because since I scored high for this subcategory, it means that I am ‘people pleasing’ and that I come last instead of putting my needs first. I will admit, that when I was younger I was someone who was like that. In fact, had I taken this exam a few years ago I probably would have scored higher than a 66% on this specific subcategory. But, because of personal growth, I feel like I have learned how to put myself first. I learned that I need to put myself first before I put others first because if I want to give people the best care I need to feel like I am at my best. For the R-Drive Personality, I think my Independence score is spot on with how I act around and towards others. I have always been someone who likes to do things on their own, but I am also learning how to ask for help when I need it. That is why I scored a 66% on Independence. As for what I oppose on my results is my Hedonism score, which is a 72%. Having a high Hedonism score means that I am someone who is highly proven to be a drinker, smoker, and drug addict. He and his friends with the true instinct of Kentucky boys had found our way across town and to the race tracks and stables at once. The love of horses, as the narrator tells us is that everyone in our part of Kentucky who is anyone at all, likes horses. Certain values and conditions are highly prized in this part of Kentucky. The racing season with new colts, bloodlines, legendary horse families and trainers all share a common bond of shared love for the thoroughbreds and champions. The narrator, a white boy, is envious of the black cook, Bildad for his closeness to the horses life. He states that he is going all season to the races and working in the livery barn in the winter where horses are and where men like to come and talk horses, wish I was a nigger.
